Overnight Canoe and Kayak Trips on The Niangua River Near Lebanon, MO

Guided overnight Float Trip with Camping under the Stars:

On this overnight river adventure expect to experience two days of relaxation and fun on the beautiful Niangua River. This grand excursion, offered by Riverfront Campground, includes experienced river guides (Tanner and Jenna), four fully prepared meals, and a unique ALL-INCLUSIVE camping experience on the banks of the Niangua River.

Upon arrival at Riverfront Campground at approximately 9:30 a.m.(Sunday-Friday), you will be greeted and introduced to your outstanding River Guides. Soon after, you will embark on an extraordinary two day, river adventure. . On this trip, each guest will have the opportunity to float, explore, and simply take in the exquisite Missouri Ozarks scenery.

After a few hours of floating, swimming and exploring, Tanner and Jenna will provide a riverside picnic. Later that day (around 5 p.m.), the crew will float into a well prepared campsite directly on the banks of the Niangua River. Here, your guides will prepare a traditional Niangua River skillet dinner over the campfire, then say goodbye for the night.

There is nothing better than waking up to the sound of rushing water, a beautiful sunrise, and a hot breakfast prepared and served by your guides. Following breakfast, the second river excursion day will begin which will include another riverside picnic. At the conclusion of the trip, guests will be transported back to Riverfront Campground. This one of a kind floating and camping experience can ONLY be found at Riverfront Campground!

What is provided:

  • 4 meals
    • 2 picnic style lunches, Hot dinner, Hot Breakfast
  • Floating vessels for two full days
    • Rafts, kayaks, canoes, life jackets, paddles
  •  Camping gear
    •  We will provide the whole camp set up. This includes Tents, Chairs, and some games. However, you will need to bring your own sleeping bags and pillow, or you can rent those from us for $10
  • Guided service 
    • You will have two guides who know the river, places to stop, and the rich history of the Niangua.

What you will need to bring:

  •  A swimsuit
  • River shoes or sandals
  • Sunscreen
  • Dry clothes to stay in overnight
  • Extra drinks
    • We will provide water the whole trip, but we do not provide any extra drinks (soda, alcohol, gatorade).
    • Will provide a place to store your extra coolers
  •  Extra snacks
    • We provide 4 filling meals, but since the float trip lasts two full days, you will definitely need to bring some extra food!
      • Ex: Fruit, veggies, chips, cookies
  • Sleeping gear
    • Like said before, we do provide you with a comfortable sleeping area, but we ask that you bring your own sleeping bags and pillows. If you do not have a sleeping bag or blanket to bring, you can rent one from us.

Meal menu:

  • Lunch (Day 1 and Day 2)
    • Cold cut sub sandwich (turkey or ham)
      • With vegetables, cheese, mayo and mustard
    • Chips
    • Water
  • Dinner
    • Niangua River Skillet (cooked over campfire)
        • Pork kielbasa sausage sauteed with peppers, onions, zuicinni, and lots of potatoes.
    •  S’mores for dessert
  • Breakfast
    •  Biscuits and Gravy
    • River eggs
      • Scrambled eggs cooked with sausage and bacon
    • Orange Juice or Milk

$150 per person for the first 3 people

4th person and up is $125

This includes your 4 meals, 2 day float trip, camping experience (with gear), and guided service.

1 Day float (What you will do)

Have you ever wanted to go on a float trip, but did not feel experienced enough, or did not want to deal with packing a bunch of food for the family? We have the perfect option for you. On this one day adventure, you will go on a 8 mile, guided float trip and explore the many beauties of the Niangua. The float trip will be 4-6 hours, based off of how much your group wants to paddle or stop and swim. You will have experienced guides with you the whole day that will show your group how to navigate the river, while stopping to swim and hangout. There will be a provided riverside picnic about halfway through the trip. All you have to bring is yourself and an adventurous spirit!
